Michael Confer is a Philadelphia Photographer specializing in professional advertising, commercial, portrait photography from the Philadelphia area. A Philadelphia Photographers Studio with capabilities in all formats of film & digital capabilities in both Still & Motion pictures.  His extensive experience ranges from still-life and wild-life to fashion, documentary, and commercial photography. Some of Michael's favorite subjects include people, egrets, flowers, slugs, his children and dog, sand dunes, tall buildings, rain swept cityscapes, WWII veterans, any historical site and Europe. His 20+ years of experience in the motion picture industry have shaped and influenced his still photography skills by helping him understand, manipulate, and nuance light, subject, and scene. Michael's style is elegant, classic, and at times, abstract. He is rarely seen without a camera in his hand, and he is always looking for a new angle or fresh approach to life around him.

CAPTAINS OF INDUSTRY NOMINATE UNITED STATES PHOTOGRAPHER MICHAEL S CONFER AT 4TH ANNUAL PHOTOGRAPHY MASTERS CUP

LONDON July 2010 - Professional photographer Michael S Confer of the United States was presented with 2 Nominee Titles in Still Life and 2 Nominee Titles in Wildlife in the 4th Annual Photography Masters Cup Nominee title at a prestigious Nomination & Winners Photo Show attended by over 40,000 online viewers who logged on live from 154 countries to see the climax of the industry's most important event for color photography.

The awards international Jury included captains of the industry ranging from Christie's in New York, National Geographic Channel, Fox Broadcasting Company, Amsterdam Worldwide, Kodak USA to Esquire in London who honored Color Masters with 235 coveted title awards in 31 categories. The judges reviewed thousands of images submitted from every corner of the globe online for eight weeks before making their final nominations and Michael's "Two Polar Bear Swimming and Two Flowers from a Floral Study" as exceptional images entered in the Still Life and Wildlife category, received a high percentage of votes overall.
